Bahibik Ya Masr Charity Dinner

Bahibik Ya Masr successfully held an Egyptian Cultural Charity Dinner on 26th June 2010 at the Egyptian Bureau for Culture and Education in London. The event was attended by over 70 British Egyptians, most of whom were highly professional young Egyptians. The event included live musical entertainment produced and performed by talented young Egyptians. The audience was amazed by the level of talent at the event, and everyone sang along and clapped to songs such as Helwa Ya Balady by Dalida. Following the delightful meal and entertainment, the Committee of Bahibik Ya Masr had organized a quiz for the group on Ancient Egyptian History. Feedback from the event was positive and members left asking for more events to be held in the near future.
Bahibik Ya Masr is a UK based Charity Group, founded by Dr Sarah Sadek, established following a trip to Egypt organized by The Egyptian Youth Council in December 2009.
The aims of the Charity are to link members of the group to Egypt, by adopting a village in Egypt and members participating in making a difference. This will be done by the provision of educational resources, health services and awareness, starting small projects and creating jobs within the village to help tackle unemployment. العشاء الخيري لجمعية "بحبك يا مصر"

أقامت مجموعة "بحبك يا مصر" في 26 يونيو الماضي حفل عشاء خيري بالمكتب الثقافي المصري حضره نحو 70 من المصريين المغتربين في بريطانيا، معظمهم من أبناء الجيل الثاني الذين يتمتعون بمستوى علمي ومهني راقي. تضمن الحفل فقرات موسيقية وغنائية أداها ببراعة شباب مصريين موهوبين، حيث لاقت استحسان الجمهور الذي صفق وغنى أغاني مثل "حلوة يا بلدي" لداليدا. وقد أعقب الحفل الغنائي والعشاء مسابقة عن التاريخ المصري القديم.
"بحبك يا مصر" جماعة خيرية مقرها المملكة المتحدة أسستها الدكتورة/ ساره صادق بعد عودتها من الرحلة التي أقامها المجلس القومي للشباب في ديسمبر 2009 للجيل الثاني من ابناء المصريين المغتربين في الخارج، حيث شعرت وغيرها من الشباب بضرورة مد جسور التواصل مع الوطن الأم بطريقة بناءة.
وقد أقيم الحفل بغرض جمع تبرعات لتنمية إحدى القرى المصرية من خلال إقامة مشروعات لتحسين البنية التحتية وتوفير فرص عمل.

“Draw a Smile” Event

“Draw a Smile” held an event on 28th March 2010 at City of London School. Over £7,000 has been raised to support orphans in Egypt through projects that aim at making a difference in their daily lives.

The event hosted a number of great performances including the Nile band, an ‘Oliver Twist’ themed play performed by the Scouts, an Arabian dance and an auction. A Mediterranean cuisine finger buffet was offered to the attendees. The event aimed to raise awareness of the problems orphan children face in their every day life. Draw a Smile has globally been recognised, with feedback from all around the world.

Draw a Smile is a non-profit organization formed by a group of young professionals and students based in the UK, looking to help orphanages in developing countries, with the initial project starting with an orphanage in Egypt. Through collaborative fundraising, ‘Draw a Smile’ looks to nurture orphan children's personal growth, and encourage their self confidence, for a happier future.

حفل جمعية “Draw A Smile”

أقامت جمعية “Draw A Smile” حفل خيري في 28 مارس 2010 بمدرسةCity of London School حيث تم جمع ما يزيد عن 7 آلاف جنيه استرليني خصصت بالكامل لتحسين حياة الأيتام في مصر، شهد الحفل عدد من العروض الفنية المتميزة منها فرقة النيل الغنائية وأطفال الكشافة بالإضافة إلى رقصة التنورة.

“Draw A Smile” هي مؤسسة لا تهدف للربح أسستها مجموعة من شباب المهنيين والطلبة المقيمين في بريطانيا بهدف مد يد العون للأطفال الأيتام في الدول النامية لضمان مستقبل أفضل لهم ورسم الابتسامة على شفاههم، وقد اتفقوا على أن يتم البدء بمصر.

رحلة شباب المصريين المهاجرين

في إطار حرص الحكومة المصرية على التواصل مع المصريين في المهجر وخاصة الجيلين الثاني والثالث ، وسعيها الدائم إلى ربطهم بوطنهم الأم، قامت وزارة الخارجية بالتعاون مع المجلس القومي للشباب ووزارة القوى العاملة بتنظيم رحلة للشباب من أبناء المصريين المهاجرين في مختلف دول العالم خلال الفترة من 25/12/2009 حتى 5/1/2010. حظيت الرحلة باستحسان كبير من الشباب المشاركين الذين أبدوا سعادتهم بتلك الفرصة التي مكنتهم من التعرف على أهم المناطق السياحية في مصر من خلال زيارة القاهرة والأقصر وأسوان والغردقة كما أعربوا عن تطلعهم للمشاركة مستقبلاً في مناسبات مماثلة.

Trip for Egyptian Youth living abroad

Within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian government to maintain and strengthen ties with Egyptian expatriates, especially the second and third generations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in participation with the National Youth Council and the Ministry of Manpower organized a trip for Egyptian Youth living in different parts of the world. The trip took place from 25/12/1009 until 5/1/2010 and the participants visited different tourist attractions in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada. The participants expressed their happiness and satisfaction while looking forward to participate at similar events in the future.

42^nd Cairo International Book Fair

The 42^nd Cairo International Book Fair will be held from 28^th January 2010 - 10^th February 2010 at the Cairo Fair Grounds. The fair is one of the leading cultural activities in the Middle East , attracting over 3,000 exhibitors and three million international visitors. The event was initially set up in 1969 and soon became a cultural landmark, attracting intellectuals, publishers, writers and book lovers from around the world.

معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب الثاني والأربعين

Reception for members of the Egyptian community and foreign guests
Friday 4th December 2009

His Excellency Mr Amr El Henawy (Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt, London) hosted a reception for members of the Egyptian community and foreign guests, attended by His Excellency Mr Hatem Seif El Nasr (Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, London) and Mrs Nevine Seif El Nasr.

Cairo International Film Festival will hold its 33rd round from November 10th to November 20th 2009, dedicated to the memory of the late Egyptian Director Shadi Abdel Salam, when a seminar will be organized attended by the famous American director, Martin Scorsese.

The festival organises 3 competitions: The International Competition for Long Feature Films, The international Competition for Digital Films and The Competition for Long Feature Arabic Films.

Heading the Jury of the International Competition will be the international Indian filmmaker, scriptwriter and producer Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The Jury of the Competition for Arabic films will be headed by the famous Egyptian star Noor El Sherif and the Head of the Jury of competition for digital films will be the Nigerian Director and Producer Victor Okhai.

This year the Executive Committee has selected the exotic land of India and for its outstanding contribution to the history of film during the last century. A special tribute will also be paid to the Algerian film industry that is rapidly rising. African cinema will also be honoured after the success of last year's "The Black Pearl".

Last year's symposium on Human Rights struck a serious note amongst guests and the public. This year Environment will be the topic for discussions among the distinguished panel members, to explore the methods by which the film industry can contribute to the issues. For this purpose the motion picture "Home" directed by French photographer Yann- Arthur- Bertrand will be screened.

The annual Film Market has been a tremendous success over the years. It has grown in scope, quantity and quality, and has aided film producers in viewing and distributing a variety of international film productions. تقوم ادارة المهرجان بتشكيل ثلاث لجان تحكيم يتم اختيار أعضائها من بين الشخصيات البارزة فى المجال السينمائى الدولى و يترأس المخرج الهندى الكبير أدور جوبالاكريشنا لجنة تحكيم المسابقة الدولية للأفلام الروائية الطويلة، أما لجنة التحكيم الخاصة بمسابقة الأفلام العربية فيرأسها النجم المصرى نور الشريف، بينما يتولى رئاسة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة بالمسابقة الدولية لأفلام الديجيتال المنتج والمخرج النيجيري فيكتور أوكهاي

هذا وستكون السينما الهندية هى ضيف شرف المهرجان هذا العام حيث سيتواجد عدد كبير من كبار نجوم السينما الهندية و ستقام حلقة نقاشية تجمع عددا كبيرا من المخرجين و الممثلين الهنود، كما سيوجه المهرجان تحية خاصة للسينما الجزائرية ممثلة في تكريم المخرج الجزائرى الكبير أحمد راشدى الذى سيقدم فيلمه الحديد مصطفى بن بولايد

السينما الأفريقية سيكون لها أيضاً لها مساحة من التكريم هذا العام أيضا إذ سيكون هناك قسما خاصا للأفلام الأفريقية الجديدة ، وذلك بعد النجاح الذى حققه قسم اللؤلؤة السوداء الذى جمع فى عام 2008 عددا كبيرا من السينمائيين الأفارقة

و كما هو متبع كل عام سوف يتم تنظيم ندوات و حلقات نقاشية فى اطار المهرجان وأمام النجاح الكبير الذى حققته ندوة حقوق الانسان العام الماضي، اختار المهرجان هذا العام موضوع البيئة للمناقشة بحضور شخصيات مصرية و عالمية وذلك للتعرف على كيفية مساهمة السينما في التوعية بالمشكلات البيئية وإيجاد حلول لها، وبهذه المناسبة ستقام أمسية خاصة لفيلم Home للمخرج الفرنسي يان أرتوس برتراند

ومثل كل عام سوف يقام سوقا للفيلم يجمع شركات الانتاج و التوزيع المصرية و الاقليمية و الدولية

The Egyptian Opera House
21st anniversary artistic ceremony

The Egyptian Opera House celebrated its 21st anniversary this month, followings its inauguration on 31st March 1988.

The Opera House plays an important role in developing international cultures and is renowned for enlightening the whole region.  Considered to be the leading centre for the arts, it includes the Institute of Arabic Music, the Said Darwish Theatre and the Damonhor Opera House.

Approximately 500 artists participated in this splendid event, under the sponsorship of Dr Abdel Moneim Kamel (President of the Opera House).

Other participants included the Cairo Opera Ballet and the Cairo Symphonic Orchestra.  The event was also attended by senior Egyptian officials and Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Egypt.

الاحتفال بمرور 21 عاما على انشاء دار الأوبرا المصرية

احتفلت دار الأوبرا المصرية خلال شهر أكتوبر بمرور 21 عاما على انشائها منذ 31 مارس 1988, يذكر أن دار الأوبرا تلعب دورا عظيما فى نشر ثقافات العالم حيث تعد بمثابة مركز اشعاع ثقافى فى المنطقة ، كما تعد مركزا رياديا يضم العديد من الكيانات الثقافية مثل معهد الموسيقى العربية، ومسرح سيد درويش وأوبرا دمنهور. وقد حضر الاحتفال نحو 500 فنان حيث جرت فعالياته تحت رعاية الدكتور/ عبد المنعم كامل رئيس دار الأوبرا. كما قامت كل من فرقة باليه أوبرا القاهرة، وأوركسترا القاهرة السيمفونى بتقديم عروضها أثناء الاحتفالية التى حضرها عدد من كبار المسئولين وأعضاء السلك الدبلوماسى.

The 21st Cairo International Festival for Experimental theatre will be held in Cairo from 10th to 20th October 2009. انطلقت بالقاهرة يوم الأحد 4 أكتوبر الدورة الخامسة والعشرون لفعاليات رالي الفراعنة التي تستمر 7 أيام بمشاركة 25 دولة، من بينها 5 دول عربية هي قطر ودبي وتونس والسعودية ومصر التي تشارك بـ11 فريقاً، وبدأ السباق الذي يقام تحت رعاية الهيئة العامة لتنشيط السياحة من بانوراما الأهرام مروراً بمنطقة الواحات البحرية ثم الواحات الداخلة وأبو منقار ومنخفض القطارة وبحر الرمال الأعظم، والعودة للقاهرة ، وذلك بمسافة إجمالية تقدر بنحو 2862 كيلو مترا. وهو يمر بجميع المناطق الطبيعية للصحراء المصري

The 25th round of Pharaoh’s Rally started in Egypt on Sunday October 4th with participation of 25 countries, including 5 Arab nations; Qatar, Dubai, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia in addition to Egypt which has 11 teams in the rally. Lasting for 7 days, the competition, held under the auspices of Tourism Activation Authority, is 2862 kilometers in total, starting at Pyramids Panorama, going through the Bahriya and Dakhla Oasis, then crossing the deserts of Egypt before returning back.

The Egyptian Consul meeting with the Egyptian community in Birmingham

اتصالاً بسلسلة اللقاءات التي عقدتها القنصلية في لندن مع مختلف جمعيات الجالية المصرية بهدف تدعيم التنسيق والتعاون، قام وفد قنصلي في ٢٠ يونيو الجاري برئاسة قنصل مصر في لندن السيد السفير/ عمرو الحناوي بزيارة مدينة برمنجهام، حيث تم عقد لقاء مع الجالية المصري في المدينة تحت رعاية الجمعية المصرية بميدلاندز. وقد أشاد الحضور بالتطور الإيجابي لتعامل الجهات الحكومية الرسمية مع الجالية المصرية، وقدمت اقتراحات بشأن عقد لقاءات مع شباب المصريين في بريطانيا واستضافة معارض مصرية. كما تم استعراض الجهد الذي بذله الأطباء المصريين في برمنجهام والذي أسفر عن إتمام ٧٠ زيارة للقرى المصرية، بالإضافة إلى المساعي التي تجري حالياً لإبرام اتفاقية لتدريب الأطباء المصريين في برمنجهام. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذه الزيارة تأتي في إطار السياسة التي تنتهجها الحكومة المصرية لزيادة التواصل مع أبنائها المغتربين وتعزيز ارتباطهم بوطنهم الأم، وكذلك التعرف على مشكلاتهم وقضاياهم والاستماع إلى أرائهم ومقترحاتهم.

Following recent meetings held by the Egyptian Consul with the Egyptian community in London, a Consular delegation headed by His Excellency Ambassador Amr El Henawy (Consul) visited Birmingham on Saturday June 20th to meet with the Egyptian community (under the auspices of the Midlands Egyptian Society). Participants praised the positive progress achieved by the Egyptian government bodies in dealing with issues raised, and suggested holding further meetings for Egyptian youth in the UK, as well as hosting Egyptian exhibitions.

On behalf of the delegation, appreciation was shown for the hard work, achievement and dedication of Egyptian doctors in Birmingham for the 70 visits they made to different Egyptian villages. We would also like to thank them for their efforts and commitment in reaching agreement which will allow a number of Egyptian doctors to be trained in Birmingham.

These productive meetings/visits fall within the framework of the policy adopted by the Egyptian Government in fostering good relations with Egyptian expatriates, and identifying issues and suggestions from the community.

التوقيع على عقد تسوية مديونيات رجل الأعمال المصرى رامى لكح

 

شهد مقر قنصلية جمهورية مصر العربية فى لندن فى 19 يونيو اتمام مراسم التوقيع على عقود اتفاق وتسوية كافة مديونيات رجل الأعمال المصرى الشهير رامى لكح والمستحقة طرف كل من بنك مصر، والبنك الأهلى، والبنك العربى الأفريقى. وقد تمت الاتفاقية فى حضور وبرعاية السيد قنصل مصر فى لندن عمرو الحناوى، وبحضور ممثلين عن الجهات الدائنة، ورجل الأعمال المصرى النشط فى مجال الاستثمارات العقارية السيد/ أيوب عدلى أيوب كطرف مشارك فى صفقة شراء بعض أصول المدرجة ضمن عملية التسوية، وكذلك السيد/ جميل حبيب، محامى رجل الأعمال.
جدير بالذكر أن التوقيع على عقد التسوية هو نتاج لجهود جادة بذلتها كافة الأطراف المعنية وذلك فى إطار استراتيجية الحكومة المصرية الرامية الى تشجيع رجال الأعمال الجادين فى تسوية مواقفهم وفتح فرص جديدة أمام رأس المال الوطنى لمواصلة نشاطه الاستثمارى فى مصر

Grand Ballet of Montreal in Cairo

Following its great success in Europe, the Canadian Ballet Company "Grand Ballet of Montreal" will perform at the Cairo Opera House for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East. The performances will be held at the main hall from June 9th until June 12th at 9 p.m.

This visit aims at deepening cultural relations between Egypt and Canada. The Company will perform 2 shows "The Wedding" and "Cantana", which will be performed with new dancing designs.

Established in 1957 and having a group of more than 65 professional dancers, the "Grand Ballet of Montreal" is considered to be one of the best 6 ballet companies in the world.

فرقة "جراند باليه مونتريال الكندية"

تنظم دار الأوبرا المصرية يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 9 يونيو عروضاً خاصة لـفرقة "جراند باليه مونتريال الكندية"، والتى ستقدم عروضها لأول مرة فى مصر والشرق الأوسط، وذلك بعد أن حققت نجاحاً ضخماً فى أوروبا، وتستمر العروض حتى يوم 12 من يونيو الجارى على خشبة المسرح الكبير فى تمام الساعة التاسعة مساء.
وتأتى زيارة فرقة الباليه الكندية إلى مصر فى محاولة لتعميق العلاقات الثقافية بين مصر و كندا، وقد اختارت الفرقة عرضى " الزفاف، كانتاتا " خصيصا لتقدمها بتصميم جديد للرقصات.
وتعد فرقة "جراند باليه الكندية" من أفضل 6 فرق على مستوى العالم وتضم مجموعة من أمهر الراقصين وتتميز بشخصيتها المستقلة وإبداعاتها فى تقديم الباليهات المعاصرة لما تمتلكه من تاريخ فنى عريق. والمعروف أن فرقة "جراند باليه " تم تأسيسها عام 1957، و تضم أكثر من 65 راقصا وراقصة.

The longest Lambs Road in Egypt

A mission affiliated to the Supreme Council of Antiquities, in cooperation with the Italian Pisa University, managed to discover the longest Lambs Road in Egypt. The road, which is 236 meters long lies in the governorate of Fayoum, southwest of Cairo and encompasses 23 statues, one of which is a unique figure of a female lion feeding her cub. Refurbishment of the road is now taking place within the framework of the agreement recently signed between the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the Italian side.

These discoveries date back to the era of Ptolemy VIII and Cleopatra VII in the period from 51 to 30 BC. In the beginning of the road a plate was found with its name in Greek, stating that it was presented to the local god of Fayoum, Sobek, which is symbolized by the crocodile.

اكتشاف أطول طريق أثرى للكباش فى مصر

كشفت بعثة المجلس الأعلى للآثار بالتعاون مع جامعة بيزا الإيطالية أطول طريق أثرى للكباش فى مصر، إذ يبلغ طوله 236 مترا ويضم 23 تمثالا أحدها تمثال فريد يمثل أنثى أسد تقوم بإرضاع شبل صغير، ويقع هذا الطريق في محافظة الفيوم، جنوبي غرب القاهرة، ويجرى حاليا أعمال الترميم الخاصة به فى إطار الاتفاقية التى عقدتها مؤخرا وزارة الثقافة مع الجانب الإيطالى

ويرجع تاريخ الاكتشاف إلى عصر بطليموس الثامن وكليوباترا السابعة فى الفترة من 51 إلى 30 قبل الميلاد، وقد عثر فى بداية الطريق على لوحة مكتوبة بالغة اليونانية مذكوراً عليها اسم الطريق وأنه مهدى للإله سوبك الإله المحلى للفيوم والذى يرمز له بالتمساح.

An Asian American tour of Egyptian sunken monuments

Following the success of the exhibition of the Egyptian sunken monuments in a number of European countries including France, Germany, Spain and Italy with 3 million visitors, a further tour of the exhibition is planned to include Japan and the United States of America.

The Italian city of Turin is considered to be the 5th and last station in the European tour which will end this month.

The exhibition will then move from the Museum of Art in Turin to the Japanese city of Yokohama for the start of the Asian tour in Japan, during the period from June to September 2009, then move to several cities in the United States of America.

The exhibition is of special importance, as it is the first time that these monuments have been exhibited outside of Egypt, and from Mediterranean Sea where they had laid for thousands of years.

The event brings together 489 archaeological pieces that were extracted from the depths of the Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria, representing different historical eras. These discoveries were made by Egyptian archeologists in cooperation with the European Institute of Submarine Archeology in the early 1990s.

بدء جولة آسيوية أمريكية لآثار مصر الغارقة

معرض الآثار المصرية الغارقة سيبدأ جولة جديدة بكل من اليابان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وذلك بعد النجاح الذى حققه المعرض فى جولته الأوروبية التى شملت كلا من فرنسا وألمانيا وأسبانيا وإيطاليا والتى زاره خلالها حوالى 3 ملايين شخص.
وتعتبر مدينة تورينو الإيطالية المقام بها المعرض حالياً هي محطته الخامسة من جولته الأوروبية التى شملت من قبل باريس وبرلين وبون ومدريد والتي ستنتهي نهاية مايو الجارى.

ومن ثم سينتقل المعرض من متحف الفن بمدينة تورينو الإيطالية إلى مدينة "يوكاهاما" اليابانية ليبدأ جولته الآسيوية والأمريكية باليابان خلال الفترة من يونيو وحتى سبتمبر المقبلين، ثم ينتقل إلى جولة تشمل عدة مدن بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
ويكتسب هذا المعرض أهمية خاصة، لكونها كانت المرة الأولى التى تخرج فيها هذه الآثار لتعرض فى خارج مصر، بل وتعيش خارج قاع البحر المتوسط بعد أن ظلت فيه آلاف السنين.

ويضم المعرض 489 قطعة أثرية تم انتشالها من أعماق البحر المتوسط فى مدينة الإسكندرية ترجع إلى عصور تاريخية متفاوتة اكتشفها خبراء الآثار المصريون بالتعاون مع بعثة المعهد الأوروبى للآثار الغارقة العاملة بالإسكندرية منذ أوائل التسعينيات فى القرن الماضى.

Visit of the Egyptian Consular Delegation to London - 27-30 April 2009

Within the framework of the increasing care given by the Egyptian government for Egyptians living abroad, a senior official delegation arrived in London on April 27th for a 3-day visit. The delegation was composed of representatives of a number of ministries and governmental bodies, lead by Ambassador Dr Mohamed Dorghamy.

The delegation began the visit by holding a meeting with prominent figures of the Egyptian community in the United Kingdom, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Ambassador Hatem Seif El Nasr and attended by the Egyptian Consul Mr Amr El-Henawy. The meeting, which was held at the Egyptian Embassy in London, aimed at creating links with the Egyptian community, particularly second generation Egyptians who have been living abroad for most of their lives.

The delegation also held a meeting at the Egyptian Cultural Center in London with Egyptian students.

This visit is considered to be the first in a European tour, including visits to France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland.

The delegation is expected to undertake similar visits to other regions in the world, where there is a significant number of Egyptian expatriates.

زيارة اللجنة القنصلية إلى لندن

خلال الفترة من 27 -30 أبريل 2009

في إطار الحرص الذي توليه الدولة للمصريين المغتربين في الخارج، وصل إلى العاصمة البريطانية لندن يوم 27 أبريل الماضي وفد كبير مشكلاً من ممثلي عدد من الوزارات والهيئات الحكومية المصرية وعلى رأسها وزارة الخارجية برئاسة السيد السفير/ دكتور محمد الضرغامي، وذلك في زيارة استغرقت 3 أيام بهدف الالتقاء بممثلي الجالية المصرية العريضة في بريطانيا والاستماع إلى مقترحاتهم ورؤاهم لنقل هذه الصورة إلى الجهات المعنية في مصر لبحث سبل التواصل مع أبناء الوطن في الخارج وخاصة الجيل الثاني الذي أمضى معظم حياته مغترباً عن أرض الوطن. استهل الوفد زيارته بلقاء دعا إليه السيد السفير/ حاتم سيف النصر سفير جمهورية مصر العربية في لندن بحضور القنصل المصري السيد الوزير المفوض/ عمرو الحناوى وذلك بمقر السفارة المصرية في لندن، وقد ضم اللقاء رؤساء وأعضاء التجمعات المصرية وكذلك الشخصيات المصرية البارزة ممثلين كافة أطياف الجالية المصرية بالمملكة المتحدة. وفي إطار العناية الفائقة التي توليها الدولة لطلابها المبعوثين في الخارج، التقى الوفد بعدد من المبعوثين المصريين في المملكة المتحدة بمقر المركز الثقافي المصري في لندن. وتعد هذه الزيارة هي المحطة الأولى ضمن جولة أوروبية واسعة تقوم بها اللجنة تشمل فرنسا وإيطاليا وألمانيا والنمسا وهولندا وسويسرا، ومن المتوقع القيام بزيارات مماثلة لمناطق أخرى في العالم تضم تجمعات للمصريين المغتربين.
